Eleanor started making jewelry for herself and friends for her wedding in 2004: costume
jewelry was too cheap for the occasion, but diamonds were just over the top (of the budget too!).
Jewelry designs tend to be minimally constructed, letting gravity do it's part, with attention to shape and color. The only art she ever studied was likewise: Chinese brushpainting on rice paper. Through the discipline, she came to love design within stringent stylistic techniques. Now a graduate student, she studies fluid movement in the ocean.
